   Was cool and bright… while it lasted.
   I really need to take the blame for the fact that the lightup feature broke.The adjustability is somewhat limited on this collar. I tried to make it smaller so it would fit the puppy and I did something that damaged it and the unit will not light up anymore.Lesson learned.While it was working it did an amazing job of letting us know when the german shepherd is underfoot in the dark. It probably saved my neck a couple of times while I avoided tripping on him.You know what that means?This product SAVED MY LIFE! It kept me from breaking my neck!How sad that I broke the lightup feature.Guess I’ll have to get another one!

   The magnetic charging device is weak.
   I like the device overall, but the magnetic charger is very weak and does not hold very well. You have to adjust to exactly the right angle or it slips off. Otherwise, the device and the app work very well. I haven’t lost my dog yet (hopefully I won’t), but it does offer peace of mind and seems to track well when we have tested it.

   Don’t expect support.
   This was said to be a Tractive product, good news, I confirmed this with the product page and it is branded/boxed appearing to all be authentic.The bad… The product ships in two stages/billings which was undisclosed and alarming without notice. I got the tracker in a day, the app is beautiful and features appear robust.There was no monthly option for subscription as implied, they in fact will only allow yearly payment subscriptions.More bad. The collar showed up with more china parts than a weather balloon, I simply cannot recommend this. The buckle is thin brittle feeling plastic and the light while bright does not appear to project in horizontal angles very well, you need to be facing the strip head on for good illumination.Last, this collar showed up (L) which claimed a range of up to 22.7″ the collar is barely 21.5. I reached out to Amazon for support and was told to contact the MFC I reached out to Tractive and they refused to provide support for a product not sold on their website.China number none.

   Very good collar. Bright light.
   I bought four of these light up collar/tractive Trackers for our four dogs. We have an old black lab, who got the Large red collar, and is normally impossible to find in the darkness, a Large pink one for our Amstaff, a Large green for our husky/lab mix, and a Medium blue for our boxer as they were out of the large blue at the time of purchase. They honestly all could have had a medium. The only difference between the medium and large are the lengths of the collar, and we had to tighten all of them to fit. The Trackers are all the same size and have an area on the collar where they can attach to (though we have them on their everyday collar rather than these which are their nighttime collars). There are three light settings, one solid and two different speed of blinking. Due to my epilepsy, both of the the blinking settings are too harsh so we leave them on solid colors. But they are BRIGHT, like we can practically make out the whole dog’s figure by the light of the collar alone. I have attached three photos (one in our muddy mud room with lights on, one outside under night settings and one outside without any special photo settings) as well as a plain video with no settings while our dogs played. The dogs are clearly located in the darkness with these collars, even our old man who likes to go find the darkest corner of the yard to lay down in. And I like that the four colors are distinctive enough to see the four colors individually.I haven’t been able to test the Trackers yet as the cost for the subscription is pretty high, especially for four dogs but have had good reviews from family and friends so im sure they will be great as well once we get the funds to activate those.

    J’en ai racheter un car j’avais un autre collier qui faisait juste un tube transparent qui s’emboîtait, il avait tendance à se décrocher facilement, la preuve il a fini par tomber et je l’ai perdu.Celui là est pratique, la lumière est vive et se voit de loin et la boucle est costaud je peux attacher la laisse sans avoir peur que ça lache.À voir sur le long terme mais pour le moment je suis satisfaite.Je ne l’ai pas essayé dans l’eau mais en tout cas il a résister à de forte pluie
