Durable. Don’t get the imitation ones.
This is the original and it works great. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but I tried one once and all four screws broke out. Not much to say here, except that it does the job well and was easy to start using it.I do wish there was a different way to attach it to a key fob. This metal spring is OK but they’re always a pain to use and look kind of cheap. I don’t want a carabiner since that’s way too big.

Tiny screws
I was given a couple of fancy Air Tag holders when I was gifted with a couple of Air Tags a while ago. They were okay, but I never thought they offered much in the way of protection. These AirVaults do that job very well. They are strong and will keep the tags safe from water and scratches. They are easy to attach to a keychain, and I feel can drop them into a bag or luggage without fear. They do not interfere with signals, either. They’re a little bulky, but I can work with that. The screws that hold the AirVaults together are very small, so choose a work space with that in mind. I found that spreading a towel over a tabletop provided the highest likelihood of quickly finding a screw if dropped, which I did a few times. A magnetic bowl might help, but I found a light-colored terrycloth hand towel worked best. The towel’s pile absorbed the energy of a falling screw so it didn’t have a chance to roll or bounce away, and a light color made it easier to see the screws if/when they are dropped.

Seems to be durable
I havenât had the chance to test the durability or waterproofing of the TagVault yet, but it looks and feels very durable. I got the TagVault so that I could put an AirTag on the my boatâs keys that I seem to always lose or forget to bring with me to the lake. Itâs an hour and a half drive from my house to the marina I store the boat at so if I forget the boat keys the day is pretty much ruined. Initially I was looking for an AirTag key chain case that was both waterproof and could float (yes I have dropped boat keys in the water). That search came up empty so I decided to just focus on finding one that was waterproof and adding a floatation device to the keychain.Pros:- Great protection.- Waterproof (havenât tested other than running it under a faucet)- Sturdy construction. Itâs screwed together with 4 screws.Cons:- Sound from the AirTag is muffled. I had my boat key AirTag in a backpack that was about 15â away from me and couldnât hear the sound from the AirTag. I tried it with my car key AirTag which is in a different case and had no issues hearing it. When my boat key AirTag was outside the backpack I could hear it while about 20â from it. I donât necessarily view this as a con for this specific product though. The AirTagâs sound is going to be muffled by any good case that is waterproof. I had zero issues using the on screen guidance (in the Find My app) to find my boat key AirTag with the TagVault on it.- While itâs nice that Elevation Labs includes a tool for the screws itâs as frustrating to use (if not more) than the tools Ikea provides with their furniture. I tried using it for all of 5 seconds before I threw it away and got out my own mini screw driver with a T6 bit attached. If I didnât have my own screw driver Iâm not sure I would have been able to reattach the screws without getting frustrated and throwing the TagVault away. Elevation should ditch the Allen wrench like design and just provide a normal mini T6 screwdriver or even just a T6 bit.

Very Nice!
These protectors are really cool. The plastic they are made from is very hard and feels like a quality product. The only drawback is that due to their water tightness, the sound for FindMy is reduced, which I suppose is a valid trade off in order to protect the AirTag. All in all, I am happy with them and would definitely buy again.

Solid defense, possibly reduces battery life.
This thing is basically indestructible. I dropped my keys off the 3rd floor of my hospital parking deck and the air tag was undamaged. One thing I’ve noticed is the battery seems to drain twice as fast as my other non-protected tags.

Good quality
These TagVault keychains work well to protect the AirTags. You need to put the AirTag in the case the correct way up, due to the rubber O-ring inside the case. If you don’t the case won’t close properly. I attached one to my dogs collar (see photo). I slid the keyring on dog collar ring, so the AirTag/Case is securely attached, then wrapped electrical tape around to stop it banging against his name tag. It works great.

Well designed
After looking at dozens of designs and more expensive air tag holders for pets on the Internet, this is the one I chose to attach to a dog collar. The holder will be attached to a large doberman’s collar and needed to be heavy duty. I like the sturdiness, compact size, and waterproof/ o-ring feature of the holder. The type screws used to screw the two halves together, in my opinion, makes the holder more tamper resistant, assuming someone other than family could get near this dog. The screw attachment tool came with the holder. The holder appears to be well designed and constructed. I like the wide attachment point on the holder. It should provide a larger area to absorb normal ware and tear and not wear out prematurely like the small hole on a standard aluminum ID dog tag or rabies tag from the vet office. There is no way the air tag itself can become detached from this holder under normal situations. The small stainless steel attachment ring that came with the holder needed to be a little more heavy duty and a little larger in diameter to loosely attach to this dog’s heavy duty collar, but I had already had a larger attachment ring of the same design. I like the attachment ring design though. You have to spread the ring to attach it to the dog collar instead of just clipping it on. This ring design is more secure than a clip-on ring which could become accidentally detached from the dog collar. I do not yet know if the detection range of the air tag will be reduced by the holder’s complete enclosure design. Shipping was very fast. I got the product in a couple of days.

Tough and perfect for its purpose
This keycase is extremely tough – mine got stepped on accidentally yet it is entirely undented and still looks brand new – and there is zero interference with the signals from the AirTag. A perfect product.

We purchased these for our Labrador Retrievers. Each dog has an Airtag. The are good quality and an added benefit we discovered is that they seem to be somewhat waterproof. All our dogs swim daily and these have kept the Airtags working for over a month.Time will tell but even if they do eventually leak, they are great value fornthe price paid.
