Nice wallet for keeping ID and credit cards safe while travelling
I bought this wallet specifically for travelling. While out of the country I don’t need or want as many cards as I carry when I’m home. As a matter-of-fact I carry only 3 credit card sized cards. This wallet held them perfectly and kept the credit cards from being scanned unless I had them out and available.The case itself is well made and the springs seem to do their job. The springs don’t feel as durable as I would like, but I think they will still last quite a long time.My one gripe, the finger slot designed into the case is there to help push the cards out of the holder. I kept trying to use it to pull the cards out. I still really wish it was on the opposite side of the holder.I think I’d buy another one of these if I ever need to replace it.

Great customer service
I purchased this wallet in January and after about 7 months of hard use one of the spring retainers broke. I reached out to Heisgie and they responded right away. I sent them a copy of the Amazon order and a couple pictures of the broken spring and they sent a new wallet within a few days. Very communicative. Immediate responses. Things break and Iâm hard on things but they took care of the problem for me. Itâs a great wallet too!

Great but not so compact
This is a perfectly made wallet. Superior materials and very functional. Problem is that when you put 8+ cards in it, it is not very compact. If you only carry one or two it is fantastic. Any more and it is bulky. I switched for iClip which is not as high quality but much more compact.

Great quality and look
This is the perfect wallet. It has real spring bars for expanding and contracting to keep your cards safe. The $100+ wallets are just rubber bands that hold the cards from falling out. I know, I foolishly bought one of the $100 wallets. This wallet is perfect in every way. Itâs worth the money and itâs a forth of the expensive wallets. One of the best products Iâve ever owned. The money clip works perfectly to hold bills., I never feel like Iâll lose any. Also holds my air tag securely. You can tell by my picture Iâve had it awhile I’m a plumber and it really stands up. Very durable. Perfect wallet!

Broken within four months
One of the side brackets broke on this within four months of regular use, making the wallet useless. Their website customer service “contact us” form does not work.EDIT: Finally was able to get the contact us form to work on their website (still not on my mobile). They sent a replacement that arrived today–two weeks later. We’ll see how it holds up.

Finally!!!
Perfect! Expandable up to 11 I think but I got 14 cards in mine. And unlike most others it really holds itâs tension even when you go all the way down to just 1 card. Love the money clip is removable. Only complaint is it is held by tension to the side so itâs near impossible getting it back on without the right tool or something. It comes with a great sturdy screwdriver both the wallet and the tool are quality & study and I think it looks pretty sleek. So next round make the money clip screw in since you have the tool and thatâs it, perfection. âï¸

This wallet is amazing!
I only ordered this because my old billfold has been killing my back. I read tons of reviews and decided on the Heisgie because of the mechanical springs as they seemed like they would be more durable than the elastic bands so many others use. I have been using it all day and am surprised it is pretty durable. I was worried that the money clip on the back wouldnât hold my bills however they stayed in place during the course of a normal day of work and running errands.The only real issue with this is wallet is that I havenât gotten used to carrying it yet and I found myself having small moments of panic when I didnât feel my bulky leather wallet in my back pocket. I know that is something that will pass with time as I grow accustomed to my new one after all Iâve carried a thick leather wallet in my back pocket for 30 plus years.Also I have 14 cards in my Heisgie wallet and there is room enough for at least a half a dozen more.All in all I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of sitting on their thick bulky leather wallet.

Great Looking, but ruins plastic card edges
This wallet looks great and very functional. But my rating purely comes from it just ruins plastic credit cards. If you have metal cards it is perfect. But after using it for more then a couple of months I have moved on due to it catching on the edges of plastic credit cards. It hits each edge of a credit card enough it starts to lift and weaken the edges of the cheap card plastic causing peeling to happen. I would not buy this again with the metal hinges, great concept but not functional after a short period of time.
