    Good quality but…
I think that the quality of the material is great! The wallet looks amazing very slim and functions how it says it does. HOWEVER I will be returning it because for the front frequently used card holders if you have two cards in it is VERY TIGHT. It seems like the wallet is a millimeter to small in width.

  5. Michael King

HiExcellent wallet – perfect size – has a spot for the air tag and lots of extra places to slide extra cards and money.I like the pop up feature for storing main cards.Looks like good quality leatherMagnetic could also be a bit stronger but an excellent purchase.I might buy another one so that I have one down the road when this wears out.

At the time of writing this review, this wallet/card holder costs $19.99.I like to carry 2 wallets while grocery shopping, one with gift cards and coupons, and my regular one that I don’t want to be 4 inches thick full of gift cards and coupons. This secondary wallet has been great for me so far. I really love everything about it. It looks nice, for one. It’s sleek and small but still manly. It can hold 11 cards TOTAL, not in the pop up section. I was able to fit 12 total in everything but I don’t want to rip this thing since I just got it. So I can say it’ll fit 11 cards comfortably. The design and materials are well made. For its size, it’s rigid yet soft. It’s comfortable in the pocket, both from and back. I prefer the front pocket as sitting on it directly can be uncomfortable. It’s RFID blocking. I checked to see how well this works by using my work badge and trying to get my phone to pick up the NFC chip. It couldn’t. I also asked my local convenient store to let me try to tap my card through the wallet to see if it would work. It did not. Pretty happy about that.I like this wallet and I will hopefully get many, many years of use out of it.

This wallet is a nice blend of the metal RFID card holder and a more traditional wallet. It has both features while still remaining quite slim for your pocket or bag.The leather stitching seems good, and it’s a soft, supple leather. The leather also has an outward facing window pocket for something like your driver’s license (or something you have to show regularly). The RFID card holder has a standard button to pop up your cards to choose which one you want. This is smartly designed and compact.I’m happy with this item.

The wallet has a nice, slightly worn tan leather look that’s soft to the touch. There are 3 pockets on the exterior as well as a money clip that can double as a pocket clip (not sure if that’s something people do, but that’s what it looks like). On the interior, the aluminum card holder can hold 8 flat cards or 6 embossed cards (cards with protruding lettering) and 2 additional pockets on the inside. This is all held together with magnets on the flap, so it won’t swing open on its own.It has a very high-quality build from the fitment to the stitching. The body is very ridged because of the aluminum frame, so no worries about your cards getting bent. The aluminum slot has 2 spring tabs on the top, so it applies friction to your cards when inserting/removing. When the card is inserted all the way, you hear an audible click that indicates the card is held firmly inside. Shaking the wallet and the cards do not fall out. Per the specs, I was able to insert a max of 8 flat cards and 6-7 mix of flat & embossed cards.Pulling on the handle and all the cards pop out in a stepped shape. You don’t need to pull down quickly to get the cards to appear as a slow pull will do the same. I do wish it required just a bit less effort, but I guess you need to balance the amount of friction to hold the cards securely to allow them to come out without flying/falling out.Using the exterior pockets for cards were a bit hit & miss for me. The 2 pockets on the outside flap, it seems the 2nd inner pocket doesn’t stop when inserting a card for a stepped look, so if you insert that card to hard, it will go in all the way at the same depth as the front card. A tab was added to, I assume, help with getting your fingers between the cards without the other card interfering. You can insert the card and stop before it goes all the way in, but would have been smarter to make the inner pocket shallower so the card sits higher and therefore wouldn’t need the tab.I was a bit disappointed with wallets that don’t have a pocket for cash. I know in a digital world cash isn’t used as much, but I’m still old school and still know cash is king. With the recent computer outage that struck the world, it strengthens the need to always have cash on hand as you never know. The clip on the back and the design of the wallet doesn’t allow the cash to be bi-fold as it’s too wide, so it need to be tri-folded, which adds thickness. I 13 x $20 bills and it looked awkward but was able to fit under the clip.I weighed the wallet while empty and it weighed 97g. Moved 10 x cards, 13 x $20 bills & 2 pieces of paper (insurance & ownership) from my existing wallet and it reached 162g. It went from approx. 23.8mm thick to approx. 28mm (diameter of a Loonie). What I had in the wallet was only part of what I had in my existing wallet. I found the pockets weren’t wide enough to fit my ownership paperwork as it comes pre-folded size slightly taller than a credit card, so I had to put it into the center of the wallet and close the flap to hold it in place. This is not ideal as opening the wallet will cause the paperwork to fall out. I could refold it but shouldn’t be necessary as it fits in most other slim wallets. If one of the pockets had a horizontal opening vs the standard vertical opening, it would have fit perfectly even though a bit would have been sticking out.Overall, the Furid minimalist wallet worked well if you’re mainly a credit card type of person and doesn’t carry much cash or paperwork with you. The aluminum framed card holder will keep your cards neatly organized and ejects when you need it and stays securely in place when not needed. The RFID blocking tech & aluminum frame prevents anyone from scanning your cards unknowingly. The money clip is good for that occasional bill, but not really meant to hold any significant amount of cash as you need to tri-fold the bills. To fit. It does add thickness because of the frame, so it’s not the thinnest minimalist wallet you can have, but it is one of the nicer/cooler ones. Personally, the reason I want a minimalist wallet is to keep all my cards/cash/paperwork I need in the smallest/lightest package, and although this is fairly slim/light, it is still significantly thicker and heavier than my existing wallet with less items due to the thick aluminum frame. At the time of this review, the wallet was priced at $29.99 which is about the average price of a comparable product on Amazon.

The Smart Card Wallet for Men Slim has been a solid addition to my everyday carry. I love how it blends style with practicality. It’s incredibly slim and doesn’t bulk up my pocket, which is exactly what I was looking for. The metal card case inside is a nice touch, making it easy to pop out my cards without any hassle, and it keeps the wallet from losing its shape over time. The RFID blocking is a big plus, especially with all the concerns about digital theft these days. I feel secure knowing my card information is protected. The wallet is also quite durable and looks sharp—definitely a step up from the bulky traditional wallets I’ve used in the past. However, one small drawback is that while it’s great for cards, it’s a bit tight if you carry a lot of cash. The money clip works, but it’s not ideal if you tend to carry more than just a few bills. Still, for a slim, modern wallet that keeps everything organized and secure, this one has been a great choice.
