A little heavy duty for my cat but she only needs to wear it when we go on our evening walks. It doesn’t bother her at all. It’s bright and gets the job done well, not to mention it looks cool too. Charge last for a long time.

I love this collar!
This collar is great! Iâm ordering more. Itâs perfect for my 2 month old black pup. We have a farm type light on our house as soon as she crosses the threshold into the darkness she completely disappears. We did try the clip on lights that go on her collar, although it was bright it wasnât enough. Perfect for late evening and night time walks.
We have 3 dogs that we take out at night on our country acreage that is not well lit up. Easy to keep track of our babyâs on leash or off. Highly recommend for safety and peace of mind. ðâð¦ºððâð¦º

Poor charger plug design
Edit: There is apparently a new version of the dog collar that is supposed to be waterproof. My dog has only been in the snow with it so it is hard to say how good the waterproofing is. I will say that the new version of the collar has a much improved battery box and seems quite a bit better built than the first version I received. I have not taken it apart to see if the charge port has been fixed or not because of the waterproof claim, I don’t want to mess up any seals. Overall the new version seems like the collar portion is the same as the first but a better built battery compartment makes me give it four stars over the three I originally gave it. Customer service has been very nice to work with about the problems I had with the first one. If the collar lasts awhile I will change this review to a five star collar with the only thing I wish was different being that the lighted part of the cable stretched around a little more of the collar but as it is it works very well.Original collar review: (I like how bright the light is and it fit my dog really well. The light did not extend all the way around the collar which was kind of annoying but I would say the biggest issue is the charger. I think I have only charged it ten or so times and it has totally fallen apart on the inside. It does not have any support l. When you plug your cable in it is just pushing on a soldered connection. Not impressed with this but happy with the other aspects of the collar. This is something I will consider spending more next time and getting a better product. I would not recommend if you are looking for heavy use.)

Excellent Lighted Collar
All materials used for this lighted collar appear to be of very good quality. Though I initially thought the collar looked “too heavy” for my 12 pound cat, it looks good on him. The on/off button is a bit “bulky looking” but that makes it easy to find and access. I got the orange light and it’s just the right brightness – bright enough to see when it starts to get dark, but not “searchlight” bright. The light encircles the collar nearly entirely, only interrupted by the on/off button and clasp, which makes it visible from nearly any angle – i.e. my cat doesn’t have to be facing me when I’m looking for him. I haven’t fully tested the life of the rechargeable battery. I charged it fully upon receipt using the provided cable, but didn’t use it for a few days. When I did use if for the first time, my cat was out for about an hour and upon his return, the light was not on. It’s not like my cat is outside all night, so the battery life is probably sufficient. I’ll be able to test it better in the winter, when the nights are longer. Overall, a very good product.

Very bright, but hot battery
Pros: lasts a good 6-8 hours on one charge. Charge it everyday, goes on cat every night. He has a routine set up and waits for me to put it on him. Lasts 2-3 months before it dies out completely and need to buy a new one. If he decides to snuggle with me in bed, I have to turn it off because he blinds me with it. It sure comes in handy to see him when I get up in the middle of the night.Cons: not for longer haired or thicker haired cats. Battery gets very warm. So 3 stars for that as it would be a hazard for fuzzier cats.I flipped it so the power button was touching his neck since the blank side gets warm, and we had no issues there. His hairs maybe once inch and itâs straight/wirey textured.I bought one to try and it does well. The blue is a very bright blue at night. I bought some other colors to try just today and hopefully those batteryâs donât get as warm.

Not at all for a cat
This is too thick for a cat. My 6lbs year old cat looks like heâs wearing a neck brace. This is probably good for a dog, but it needs to be slimmer for a cat. I sometimes worry itâs too thick and bulky for him and that it could be hurting his neck by wearing it. For now Iâm keeping it because I am afraid when heâs out at night and of him getting in the street and it being too dark for a car to see him. He had the energizer led light tag but I had to change the battery every 3 days so at least this one is rechargeable. Weâll see how long it lasts. If I find something slimmer I will definitely return this.Edit* this thing only lasted two weeks before the charge wouldnât hold. He didnât even wear it every day. But now when I charge it all day and put it on at night it lasts an hour before it shuts off. Such a waste of money.

Iâve had this collar for almost a week and loving it! The medium fits my dobi great and is really bright at night.The battery so far is exceeding expectations, today will be the 5th day wearing it at night without any additional charge. Iâve only charged it once and itâs still going strong.You should know only half the collar lights up but thatâs all you need.

Mi perrita es muy peque, la mayorÃa de los collares MUY GRUESOS para ella, me encantó para pasear en la noche. NO ES PARA PONER LA CORREA pues se abre facil, pero si para pasear con mayor seguridad en la noche con mi perrita. La carga dura bastante bien la cargo dos a tres veces por semana y se la dejo prendida todo el paseo. buen producto!!
